Oy-ly fricken frack. Time to that familiar tune, where did all my time go. Summer has come and went with the few expected days of immense heat where you seriously start considering whether you're cooking or not, but there were also a few unexpected days of lovely global warming wackiness that turned the weather around to a snot-dripping chill.
Anyhow back to reality and stress and that nasty nail biting habit. Someone punch me with the fists of inspiration and motivation please.
But I definitely don't mind coming back to this:

Recommended Tunes For Today: Ah now here is something I look forward to doing again. So many good tunes. Without my internet connection, its really easy to fall out of the music scene and miss out on so many good tunes.
+ Jens Lekman - I Saw Her In The Anti War Demonstration
+ Muddy Waters - The Blues Had A Baby And They Named It Rock & Roll
(Did anyone watch that PBS special abotu a month ago on Muddy? I totally blasted my TV so the neighbors could listen to what REAL music is supposed to sound like. By the way, I know everyone called him Muddy but his given name is so awesome too - McKinley)

One of the best albums ever.
+ Sergio Mendes - Hey Girl
(ok, so I thought this album - Timeless - was going to be some Santana/other artist thing but its actually quite good)
+ Stone Temple Pilots - Lounge Fly
(Pre- Velvet Underground goodness. Ah the good ole days of grunge and heroin)
+ Ben Kweller - Penny On The Train Track
(yay, a new album from that boy no-longer-boy wonder)
+ Joe Cocker - Change In Louise
(ok, he's a Ray Charles knockoff but his songs are so ear friendly)
+ TV On The Radio - Bomb Yourself
(was a little disappointed by their performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic. Was it bad acoustics? Bad equipment? The early hours? Jetlag?? ???
+ Time, Where Did You Go - Hugh Laurie (from A Bit of Fry and Laurie)
